Rebuilding Dentrix Data

To Rebuild your Dentrix Data:

1. Shutdown all workstations and all Dentrix server apps.
2. Backup Data folder. (C:\Dentrix\ep.exe will show database path)

3. Copy:

   COMM_DAT.DAT
   DATALOK2.DAT
   DATALOK.DAT
   NETID.DAT
   

   from the TUTOR folder to DATA folder. (rename existing to .dat.old)

4. Run _rebuild.exe
5. OK on backup warning
6. Select All
7. Rebuild
8. Run _maint.exe
9. Run -> Reset Network Station IDs
10. Turn on each workstation, open Dentrix and open a module.
